› Forums › HubSpot Services › How do I segment my HubSpot users on their RFM ratings?
Tagged: Plugins
Hi there.
I was using your plugin and found a feature called RFM segmentation. It intrigued me when I read about it. However, I’m not completely sure how to segment users based on these RFM ratings. Please assist me on this.
Hey Samuel,
Segmenting users based on their RFM(Recency, Frequency, Monetary) ratings is quite simple. You just need to create some lists on your HubSpot portal that will help you do that. These lists will fetch the data of the ratings of a customer and then enroll them into the list according to their ratings.
For example, you can create a list called top spenders to keep all the users who spend most on your store aside. In this list, you can set the enrollment criteria as whoever customer has the monetary value of 5 will get enrolled in this list.
This would require a few clicks here and there but you can also do this in a snap.
In the settings of the plugin, you get a lists section.
Open that section and you’ll see multiple lists there. Many of them are for RFM segmentation like Big Spenders, Loyal Customers, Low Spenders, and more.
Just click on the Create button in front of the list you want to create and they’ll reflect in your HubSpot portal.
Now you can use these lists to divide your users into different groups.
Happy Segmenting 🙂
