I’m new to wordpress and woocommerce. Having a lot of fun learning the process. Hopefully it all works out in the end.
I’m trying to build a site to sell tshirts and I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a way or plugin that will allow me to add attributes and variations based on those attributes to every listing on my page.
Say for example I’m selling t-shirts and I have 20 different designs and I create a product page for each of the designs. On each of those product pages I have multiple options for the design, such as:
(Type of Garment) Men’s T-Shirt, Ladies T-Shirt, Youth T-Shirt
(Size) S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL
(Color of Garment) Red, Yellow, Black, Purple
I would like to add a new type of Garment (Hoodie) and a new color (Orange) and all possible variations of the new attributes to every existing product pages on my site. Also be able to edit the new variations to include a sku number etc if necessary.
Also, would like a way to delete particular attributes / variations form every product page. Say for example I wanted to remove the color yellow from every possible variation and also wanted to remove the variations of purple and hoodie, but keep purple for every other option.
Is there any way to do all that in woocommerce or any sort of plugin? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.October 4, 2021 at 8:50 am #2196Jennifer NeonKeymaster
You can do the following steps for creating the WooCommerce variable product:
First, go to the products tab and click on the new product and select the product data -> product type as a variable product.
After that, you click on the product attribute and create your custom attributes by clicking on add button and write your attribute name (SIZE) and values like (medium | large | small) and you can create as many attributes after that just click on the variation tab and create all the variation which are created from all attributes and fill the details of each variation and save changes.
Now, All the variations are visible in the front end if you want to delete any variation just go to the product edit page and variations and remove the particular variation that you don’t want t show in the front end.
For more details, you can visit our Plugin: Product Variation swatches for WooCommerce
I hope it helps!
