Hi, respected members of the community,
So recently I’ve been reading a lot about marketing automation and CRMs in the recent past and was wondering is there any difference between marketing automation software and CRMs or are they interconnected can anyone help?
Hi @alphami6,
Yes, CRMs and Marketing automation are completely different from each other. Actually, if have to say they are complimentary to each other.
Hmmm,
That’s interesting info. Hey, @Shaun Edwards can you explain me in more detail?? That would be really helpful.
Sure,
So CRMs are mainly designed for sales purposes whereas automation tools are designed for marketers mainly.
You can use the combination of marketing automation and CRM for startups, small businesses, and even enterprise businesses to get more leads and close more deals.
While one makes the target audience aware of your brand, the other lets you convert potential prospects.
Thank you @shaun-edwards,
That was really helpful.
