I purchased a variation swatch plugin so customers could select from buttons / images instead of the usual drop down menus in woocommerce.
I really like how it all looks, very professional compared to the drop down menus. Problem is, the swatches don’t function correctly if I try to edit variations of a product page that has more than 80 variations.
I have a product with about 300 variations that I would like to use a swatch plugin with. Its a t-shirt listing and I plan on doing a lot of editing of the product page over time, I’ll have to add or remove colors / sizes / styles etc.
Can anyone recommend a swatch plugin that can handle a lot of variations? 500, 1000, 2000+? Is that too much to ask for from one of these plugins?
I’ve seen plenty of Amazon listings with upwards of 500 variations to choose from, so I’m hoping I can accomplish that with woocommerce.
Thanks for the help.

Hello, By using WooCommerce you can create any number of variations combination but at a time you can create Max 50 variations in a single run.
After that, you can create the next Max 50 variations in the second run. like that you can create more variations. Then all the above default-created variations are supported by our plugin.
So by using our variation plugin you can show swatches of more than 100+. You can check our plugin here: Product Variation swatches for WooCommerce.
I hope it helps!

Thanks for the reply.
Am I able to set the swatch “Image” or “Color” to the global attributes? That way I don’t have to manually set the image and color swatches for each listing.
Does it have a “blur out” or “hide” feature for the unavailable products?
Can the plugin be used, and function normally, with 500-1000 variations? Or are there any sort of glitches to expect with a lot of variations?
Does it have a trial period, if I purchase it and it doesn’t function correctly with the amount of variations?
Thanks for the info.October 11, 2021 at 8:00 am #2281Jennifer NeonKeymaster
Q. Am I able to set the swatch “Image” or “Color” to the global attributes? That way I don’t have to manually set the image and color swatches for each listing.
A. Yes, we provide a global attribute setting so that you can set (color, image, text) only once and it will reflect on all the products which are having this global attribute also if you have a custom attribute you can set it from the product edit page.
Q. Does it have a “blur out” or “hide” feature for the unavailable products?
A. We don’t have the feature to hide and blur but we have a feature to show a cross symbol on the product variations which are unavailable.
Q. Can the plugin be used, and function normally, with 500-1000 variations? Or are there any sort of glitches to expect with a lot of variations?
A. Plugin is working normally when you create a lot of variations.
Q. Does it have a trial period, if I purchase it and it doesn’t function correctly with the amount of variations?
A. You can check the plugin demo by requesting from here: Visit Demo
