What are you doing to prepare your eCommerce site for the holiday season?October 27, 2021 at 5:17 pm #2496Eilish BillieParticipant
@Benton, I have to admire your intelligence. You’ve raised an excellent point.
People have obviously pre-planned their strategies in order to reach new heights in holiday sessions now that it is the holiday season. Let me tell you about my WooCommerce store’s future plans-
I’ve prior made a list of holidays. Because the holiday season is about more than just Christmas cheer. I’ve learned a lot about them thanks to thorough research, so my dream of capturing holidays didn’t derail my plans for campaigns that would help me capture the spirit of these holidays.
Most importantly, I’ve set up my site for the inundations. Yes, you read that correctly: if the onslaught takes down my site, the Cyber Monday boom could quickly turn into a bust. As a result, I’ve double-checked that I have enough bandwidth and used GTmetrix or a similar tool to identify and eliminate the causes of site slowdown.
A metric to deal with the Traffic. Yes, I’ve prior made clear the thing that depending on my site’s expected traffic, it seems to be worth getting a content delivery network (CDN) to provide an even better experience for my customers.
Corrected my Mobile view i.e. Responsiveness. The majority of multi-screen shoppers start their shopping on their phones but finish it on their computers, usually the same day. As a result, improving responsiveness is also important, and I’ve worked on that as well. I believe that having a good user experience is more important.
Started marketing up with themed pages for holiday SEO. This is an easy way to collect products and services around a particular holiday, and it also makes it an easy resource for people to share.
Created a blog page for my site. Keeping track of that, I’ve built authority with great, shareable content, which has helped me build my prospect list quickly and effectively, as well as drive additional sales.
Enhanced my checkout experience for real. Yes, more than anything, adding related products to your checkout page can make a huge difference. I feel compelled to recommend it.
Offered free return shipping exclusively. Consider, like me, providing free shipping for returned items. This is straight out of the Zappos playbook, but it’s a great idea for instilling customer trust before they click the “Buy Now” button. For me, this works…
Had prepared a prior plan for my all Holiday Deadlines. That is something I have planned ahead of time. I’m confident in what I need to do and when I need to do it…isn’t that great…??
I also suggest that you be very clear with your customers about cut-off dates for orders that need to be purchased, shipped, and delivered before the holidays. This greatly aids you in smoothly managing those hustling and bustling situations.
That is what I have prepared; please feel free to suggest and recommend anything if you feel so inclined, and please let me know if I was of assistance.
Good Luck.October 28, 2021 at 11:41 am #2500elianaParticipant
