Can I show the popup notifications for the items added to the Wishlist?July 19, 2021 at 3:53 am #967AlfredParticipant
There are lots of plugins for Wishlist for WooCommerce but I recommend Ultimate Wishlist for WooCommerce
Feature of Ultimate Wishlist for WooCommerce
1. When a plugin is installed a well-framed page for the Wishlist is added to your WooCommerce store
2. Add a Wishlist on each product.
3. You can also set the Wishlist popup.
4. Admin can set the icon type for the Wishlist.
5. Customer can purchase any item from the Wishlist.
Yes, This can be done by enabling Wishlist Popup which will show the item added to the wishlist as a popup after adding to the list.

You’ve clearly demonstrated the wishlist support plugin’s functionality, but I still have a question that I believe you’d be the ideal person to answer.
I want to ask- What exactly is the purpose of having an additional Wishlist plugin, as far as I know, the Cart can also contain selected products, or the Save for Later feature can also assist in that.
So, my question is basically that- would this wishlist plugin, if I incorporate it in my site, HELP me or BURDEN my site? Please assist me in resolving my concerns.
Thank you.September 9, 2021 at 6:34 pm #1762BrianParticipant
Good question Josephine !
Yes, “Add to Cart” is an universal button for every store, and it cannot be ignored at any cost. So, we are not going to debate about “Cart”. But yes, talking about ” save for later” button; in my opinion, save for later only saves it for you so that you can purchase it later.
However, Wishlist extends its approach to new feature as well!
Wishlist is about “LIST OF PRODUCTS” that you customers wish. But save for later is about “INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT” that customers cannot purchase immediately and save it for later.
Wishlist is about engagement with products and save for later is more about conversion of that particular products.
Here are some additional feature that the customers get with Wishlist
- Invite collaborators to your Wishlist.
- Share Wishlist on social media
- Create and add as many Wishlist as you want.
- Add notes on products.
- Proceed to purchase from Wishlist.
So, its kind of different from the save for later feature. However, that doesn’t’ mean you should use Wishlist instead of save for later. Save for later and Wishlist have their own importance and it depends on store owners, what works for them and what doesn’t works.
Hope that makes sense.September 13, 2021 at 6:16 am #1784JosephineParticipant
