Good question Josephine !
Yes, “Add to Cart” is an universal button for every store, and it cannot be ignored at any cost. So, we are not going to debate about “Cart”. But yes, talking about ” save for later” button; in my opinion, save for later only saves it for you so that you can purchase it later.
However, Wishlist extends its approach to new feature as well!
Wishlist is about “LIST OF PRODUCTS” that you customers wish. But save for later is about “INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT” that customers cannot purchase immediately and save it for later.
Wishlist is about engagement with products and save for later is more about conversion of that particular products.
Here are some additional feature that the customers get with Wishlist
- Invite collaborators to your Wishlist.
- Share Wishlist on social media
- Create and add as many Wishlist as you want.
- Add notes on products.
- Proceed to purchase from Wishlist.
So, its kind of different from the save for later feature. However, that doesn’t’ mean you should use Wishlist instead of save for later. Save for later and Wishlist have their own importance and it depends on store owners, what works for them and what doesn’t works.
Hope that makes sense.
Hello, to apply coupons using the URL, you can either use the specific functionality plugin or you can go for the plugin that can help you with more features. Regarding your query, you can use Advanced Coupons for the WooCommerce plugin. It has the option to apply coupons using the URL directly. It also has the option to hide/show the apply coupons field on the cart/checkout page.
If you opt to use this plugin, you just need to go to the backend settings and select the option – “Allow Coupons to apply through the URL”. You can check more about its functionality here.
Hope it helped you!

Avai, I think this topic needs a good discussion, as it’s an umbrella covering the majority of the businesses out there.
And, I like what Athena said “Stay true to your users and support them even if they are not buying right now” and that’s what needed not after the COVID crises but even before the and even much after it
“Business is a community where people are ready to pay you much much more, if you could give them solution in-place of that much money.
And, its more like starting to give value to your customers until and soon they are ready to pay.
Now, lets talk about the original question!
How to keep the interaction alive with customers after the covid crises.
I would suggest to setup up a C-H-A-T-B-O-T for your business for Messenger, or WordPress website and other chatting platforms. Because there is a good rush coming in the online world after covid and therefore, you may get a high influx of customers.
Chatbots make it easy though automation, and they follow your words and intelligence, so you could speak to your multiple clients through chatbots round the clock. Get on live chat whenever needed and broadcast, and many many other things.
There could be other ways to community to the customers like regular blog post, social media and live sessions. Let’s see what others say!September 7, 2021 at 8:13 am in reply to: How to add a spin-to-win wheel game to your WooCommerce/WordPress website? #1692
Your concern is right. There are often attempt to hack or trick the algorithm to cheat and win the spin-wheel. However, I am also of the opinion that it’s not too frequent.
Here are the reason why I think it’s not too often: The offer or awards is not often too expensive that smart people put their extra brain into it. People are simply too busy to invest their time in it.
However, I had came across one such plugin where it check robots to avoid any code-based cheating. The human check captcha. It called WP Roulette Wheel. But the pain point is, this plugin is not too often updated hence, had some error while using it.
Also, I would like to see the captcha check in the “Discount Win Wheel for WooCommerce” Plugin in future update, as its really important to have good security against all cheat, even no cases are encountered.September 3, 2021 at 5:15 pm in reply to: How to add a spin-to-win wheel game to your WooCommerce/WordPress website? #1672
A spin-to-win popup game works on the concept of gamification. Essentially, we are using a game-like element for non-gaming activities. In this case, we are using a game to sell our products and services.
By nature’s design, humans are inclined to compete in game-like environments to earn rewards. That’s why gamified popups always succeed in engaging website visitors.
You can add a spin-to-win game on your WooCommerce or WordPress website using the
Discount Win-Wheel for WooCommerce plugin . It allows your customers and guest users to test their luck and win a discount coupon on a successful spin.
It also works as a lead capture tool because users are required to enter their email addresses to spin the wheel. Moreover, every segment on this discount wheel and the elements of discount win-wheel popup are customizable.
You can decide the color, placement, rewards, and even select a cheat segment where the wheel pointer will always stop.September 2, 2021 at 11:55 am in reply to: Which free keyword research tool provides accurate information? #1646
To ensure that you’re surfacing all of the essential keywords that should be in your content plan and search marketing, you should employ keyword tools. Even the most effective technologies are rough estimates of traffic volumes.
You can get an idea of where keywords are in relation to each other if you utilize the same one for all your research. None of them have the level of data that Google does, thus none of them have a true understanding of the figures that Google has. When compared to other data from the same source or from other sources, a keyword research tool is used to hunt for potential keywords. We’d all be wealthy if free tools provided correct facts.
However, paid tools do help you to an extent that they measure the exact volume of the keyword. You can search for competitors by domain name or by industry or services offered. You may use Ahrefs to examine what other people are ranking for on organic keywords, as well as to see what backlinks you have and whether any of them are broken. Above all, here are a few free keyword research tools for you:
- Keyword Generator
- Google Trends
- Keyword Sheeter
- Answer the public
- Bulk Keyword Generator
- SEMRUSH free version- keyword magic tool
